Jan has been operating in private consulting for over 15 years as Projects Director for mgn consultancy. She has previously held senior positions in education, industrial relations and organisation development. Her consultancy work also relates to her qualifications and interest in social policy and research, where she is mgn’s project leader for major Victorian Government programs and evaluations in areas such as responsible gambling, the Victorian Bushfire Program and Community Safety (including as national executive member of the Australian Safer Communities Foundation [ASCF]).
Jan has been actively involved in the Community Bank® model for 12 years:
- Steering committee member for a Ringwood East (3135) branch 2002-2003
- Foundation Director of Maroondah Community Enterprises Limited 2003
- Chair HR for most years
As a service provider to Community Bank Boards Jan was approached by several Regional Managers in 2011 to provide operational and strategic planning services to other Community Banks® – responses to these services have been positive and were the catalyst for CDKiosk being formed. CDKiosk will provide specialist practitioners for all of our services: as CEO, Jan has been talking to a select group of specialists, all of whom understand the Community Bank® model through active participation as Directors or sub committee members.
In 2013, Jan was awarded a ‘Service Recognition’ Award from Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. The award, signed by Mike Hirst (Managing Director, BEN) was in recognition of Jan’s role with Maroondah Community Enterprises Limited for over 12 years.
One of the great things that we did as new company directors was to arrange a plaque to recognise the Ringwood East branch opening (20 June 2003). You’ll see Jan McGannon’s name as a founding director. She remains very proud of such a simple way to recognise Director commitment and pride for the long term.
Bill has been operating in private consulting for 11 years as Strategic HR Director for mgn consultancy. He has previously held senior and executive positions in both Federal and State government departments and statutory authorities. As a consultant, he has advised organisations as diverse as the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine for 3 years as their Strategic HR consultant, Victorian Farmers Market as mentor and HR consultant, and a substantial body of work undertaking formal grievance investigations for local government and private agencies.
